Maybe instead of playing acerola play max potion. You already play both starmie for energy recovery and skyla for searching. Try playing a couple copies of Aether CS GRI for extra health as well!

I probably sound like a dingus, but this deck is new on me. Would someone mind explaining?

This is an electric toolbox deck that is based on using magnezone from breakthrough with its magnetic circuit ability so you can place as many lightning energy as you want each turn. using different lightning attackers allows him to have options and versatility in his choices and in different match ups, if against Pokemon with special energy you can attack with Xurkitree because it ha an ability where Pokemon with special energy attached do nothing to him. If you need a quick fresh attacker then you can play tapu koko on the bench and with koko's ability you can move (preferably) 3 lightning energy from your field to koko and then switch him to the active (as an effect of the ability when he is played. Additionally koko is not weak to fighting. Raikou is just your overall "put all your energy on me coach" card that does 50 + 20x where x is the amount of electric energies on raikou. Overall the deck is finally tuned but will definitely have difficulty against many meta decks. This deck has more potential then even you might realize if we possibly get another good attacker for the deck though.
