Pokemon: 15
Hi, all. First post in the TCG section so bear with me. Also posting from mobile.
This deck is based off my love for the speed of M Manectric. The ability to hit for 110 and energy acceleration is great. For the upcoming format, M Ray will be running rampant and the best counter available currently is M Manectric. Lugia EX is basically a new Mewtwo with an expensive Donphan Wreck as a secondary attack. Ninetales is in this deck to shut down the upcoming lock abilities such as Giratina.
In terms of trainers, I believe 3x spirit links are enough for a 4-4 line. Stadium wars will remain big and 4x Silent Lab will shut down abilities while Ninetales' ability will keep opponents from playing other stadiums. Mega Turbo and Battle Compressor are there to speed up setup. Level Ball is used to quickly get out Ninetales. VS Seeker is there because it's a great card for the upcoming format and should be in every deck.
The energies are standard to power up Manectric and Lugia.
I'm looking to add techs to deal with Stage 1 and 2 Pokemon with Safeguard-like abilities. Would a 2-2 Raichu line be prudent? Feel free to rip this apart or give some advice! Thanks for the read.
