So this is another TMSB* idea, but instead of it just being used with Gyarados, it's also including a M TTar, because due to A: Gyarados only needing a DCE to use Full Retaliation, it can also fit nicely with M TTar's attack, [DDCC] B: M TTar will do 230 damage with 2 damage counters on the opponent's active Pokemon.

(For the record, this is a lot like the other Gyarados deck thread. I decided to make this one separate because it just a different deck, despite being very similar. Also, very knew to PTCG [2 weeks experience,] so forgive me for any obvious mistakes.)

*TSMB = Team Magma's Secret Base
Pokemon: 12
  • 4 Magikarp
  • 3 Gyarados (Ancient Trait)
  • 2 Tyranitar EX
  • 2 M Tyranitar EX
  • 1 Shaymin EX
Trainers: 38
  • 3 Dive Ball
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 1 Sacred Ash
  • 1 Eco Arm
  • 2 Tool Retriever (IK it's a fairly bad card, but I still feel it would be good due to being able to remove the spirit link, and Head Ringer would be detrimental on a deck like this, since it may have a rise in play due to a lot of double tool attachments.)
  • 3 Escape Rope
  • 3 VS Seeker
  • 4 Muscle Band
  • 2 Tyranitar Spirit Link
  • 2 Pokemon Fan Club
  • 3 Lysander
  • 2 Professor Birch's Observations
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 4 Team Magma Secret Base

Energy: 10

  • 4 DCE
  • 6 Darkness Energy
Strategy:

The goal of this deck is to dish out a lot of damage with both Gyrados and M TTar, both requiring very little set-up time with the right plays so you can have multiple attackers out, and using Lysander/Escape Rope to knock out pokemon with any damage counters on them (since TMSB won't put damage counters on Pokemon already out.) This deck is a little inconsistent due to the HEAVY reliance on TMSB* I feel, so any suggestions on how to make it a little more consistent/less reliant would be nice.

Reminder, I'm VERY new to Pokemon. I would love if you guys would help take this probably crummy deck list and turn it into something semi-viable. I just want to make a M TTar / Gyarados deck, so hopefully you guys know how to make one that actually will do well. I can take harsh criticism, I'm here to learn. ^_^
