Well, having played Yanmega for a bit this season, let me say some things about her:

- It's harder than it looks to have 4 cards in hand. You should trade 2 N for 2 Judge (assuming BKT/XY8 stays in rotation).

- Yanmega got a nice partner with Shining Legends Marshadow. It's Ability is the same as Judge. Could work out.

About the deck in general:

- Isn't 3 Acerola a bit too much? I know it can be used to power up Golisopod's first attack, but do you think you can use 3 Acerola every game?

- With so many Grass cards, at least 1 Revitalizer (again, assuming GEN stays in rotation) should be used. I would consider 2.

- You could consider Warp Energy for this deck. I bet they reprinted it just for crazy Golisopod-GX turns.

What does Acerola do?

I actually forgot about Revitalizer and Warp Energy: certainly considering that. The answer to your first query re Acerola is: yes, absolutely. The idea of this deck involves making it very difficult for the opponent to grab KOs. Acerola not only powers up Goli, but makes a ton of damage counters disappear.

I didn't actually know a lot about SHL Marshadow: unfortunately we won't get the set for a while.

Following are a few thoughts for your consideration:
  • First of all, Tapu Koko seems a bit out of place since it requires 2 energy to attack versus your other main Pokémon that require either none or 1. This issue is further compounded since your count is quite "low" relatively speaking.
  • Why no Judge which would ensure you both players have 4 cards in hand, thus enabling Yanmega's attack?
  • Level Ball will rotate out.
  • What is the purpose and value of Wimpod (BUS)?
  • The Muscular Dumbbells will not be effective once you put Yanmega BREAK into play; so, this Tool use may be quite limited and not that effective.
  • From my experience, you'll need more than 1 Field Blower too, especially since Garbodor deck variants are quite popular.
  • Why no counter Stadium(s)?
  • Although I personally have not yet tested Wicke, but it seems to be "N-like." Since Professor Sycamore post-rotation is still available, why would you not use it? After all, it is still the strongest card-draw instrument in the game, IMO.
Some initial suggested changes are (not knowing what some of the new cards' capabilities are):

-3 Assault Vest - not that helpful (easy Field blower target and too situational)
-2 Level Ball - will rotate out
-3 Muscular Dumbells
-2 N - not critical
-2 Tapu Koko - not really needed
-3 Wicke

+2 Formantis
+2 Lurantis (SM25) - provides damage output boost for G Pokémon
+1 Field Blower
+3 Judge
+3 Parallel City - to control opponent's bench size
+3 Professor Sycamore
+1 G
I hope you find these comments helpful.

Thank you. I have included all of your changes and they are very useful.
