Ruling Yanmega (PF) Attack Question

Okay, so his surprise attack question, I have different scenarios where I am not sure if the +50 damage effect takes place or not. Okay, so my opponent attacks and knocks out my active, I move up my yanmega. Will that attack then do 100 damage?

Scenario 2: My yanmega is my active. I retreat him to the bench, and then use a switch trainer to put him back as my active again. Does the 100 damage still count?

For your first question, the answer is no. Because you choose your new Active Pokemon before you draw for your turn, Yanmega doesn't become your Active Pokemon during your turn.

For the second scenario, the answer is yes.
