Yanmega Prime + Vilplume: I need a second attacker!

I was using donphan, but with the new addition of vilplume It makes donphan too slow.

My current list:
4-4 yanmega Prime TR
2-2-2 Vilplume
2-3 sunflora (i did 2 sunkerns because no one wants to start with that!)
2-2 Slowking HGSS
2 cleffa

4 copycats
4 judges
2 oaks
3 collectors

2 rescue energies
----------------------
I took out the donphans and trainers and now Im trying to put in something thats easier to get out and has a better retreat or possibly something that can be gotten out with sunflora.

Also, without trainers i'll have to take a new approach on draw power.
Maybe slowking prime?

Any suggestions for heavier hitters that could be combined with yanmega prime?

Thanks for reading!

I'd up it to 3 cleffa, 4 oak's and 4 collectors, and probably drop the Slowking line (I just don't see the point) Jumpluff seems like it would work well in this deck, you could add a 2-1-2 or 3-2-3, some rare candys, and some grass energy and i think it'd work really well. And if you're adding RC for Jumpluff you'd wanna reduce the Vileplume line to 2-1-2.

:"> I'll try and up the oaks and collectors.
If I was to add jumpluffs though, should I add in pichus?

I have taken the slowking in and out several times. It definantly helps, but I just can't stand starting with a slowpoke and not being able to easily retreat it.
Im up for taking him out, but he helps alot with disruption. Especially if vilplume is out. You put the trainer on the top of the deck and they draw a card they can't use. :"P

If you're using 4 collector's Pachi isn't worth it. Slowking is a nice card to have out but it's too much trouble and drags down your concistency too much to use him in a deck that doesn't have a specific meaning for him.

Okay first of all, Bellsprout. You have to run this guy, it's the only way you're gonna win against Magneboar and Reshiboar, probably two of the top three decks in the format. Take out 1-1 Yanmega for two, you don't need that many, especially since you have rescue. I would go straight with 2-2 Sunflora, 3 is unnecessary because you'll never get three out at one time. Take out 1-1 Slowking, this guy is really useful in Magneboar and Reshiboar by bringing up Emboar, and making sure they don't hit the energy, but you don't need 2-2 of him. Take out the 2 Oaks and run 2 more Cleffa or whatever as a starter. Pichu imo sucks, no offense, because everyone's running cleffa right now, and if you give them all the basics they need, they'll love you, which is not helping. So far your skeleten has 40 cards. Add in a 4th Collector, 3 Elm's Training Method, 2-2-2 Jumpluff, 2 Black Belt, 2 Twins, 2 Alph Lithograph (i know it's a trainer, but it's still plenty useful, because you're not gettin vileplume out THAT quick) and 4 Grass. Jumpluff is great to finish off things Yanmega can't like Emboar, and Black Belt helps with that. You could run Mincinno too instead of Jumpluff and run 4 DCE. I like it better because it saves space, it's easier to evolve to, and stuff. The only thing where jumpluff outclasses it is that it's searchable by Sunshine Grace.

Okay that wraps it up, hope I helped!

I'm not sure I agree with Reshi/Magneboar. even with Oaks, Junipers, Collectors, etc. all maxed out its still pretty inconsistent. but I'm not so sure those changes will work for what he wants to do. I did write up a list for a yanmega/vileplume,sunfolora deck. but at any rate, you could make your Yanmega a main attacker and add in one of the B?W Dragons as a back up attacker for Out Rage. if you decided to, you can even run a 2-1-2 line Reuniclus to Damage swap onto said dragons while your megas take the beating because they cant get one hit by donphan, which is going to see alot of play once nats is over and while we wait for Emerging Powers.

I'd say play Yanmega/Vileplume/Mew/Muk/Jumpluff which sounds like a mouthful but you run no grimer or hoppip or skiploom. See off Muk or jumpluff depending on the matchup. It saw play at canadian nationals making a couple of top cut spots.

I suggest either jumpluff HS or victrebell TP. JUmpluff has proven itself very useful to me with yanmega because of the small energy costs.
