But this one's not about the Poke-Body:

To be able to do damage to your opponent's benched pokemon using Probopass' attack, can the metal energies that you use be part of the attack cost? e.g. if you have FMM attached to Probopass, can you do 20 damage to 2 of your opponent's benched pokemon?
 
Yes, why wouldn't you be able to?

Only do they not count if the attack would have said "But not used to pay for this attack cost".
 
Hmmm. I thought so. But it seemed some other people in other places interpreted it differently...

This could be a beast with Leafeon Lv X.
 
True, but if you stack energy on it and then dies, it's hard to come back from (and you would play 3 different types of energy).

Yeah, if you have 3 energy and 2 are Metal, you can use those 2 Metal as part of the effect on Probopass's attack.
