Last night, I spent around fifteen minutes gathering fossils in Glittering Cave to prepare for a soft reset hunt for a shiny extinct Pokémon. And after collecting twelve fossils, an awesome shiny Dwebble jumped out of a boulder that I smashed! Which makes this my second random shiny in XY! (Outside the Friend Safari)
What makes this even better is that the Dwebble is adamant and has 31 IVs in speed!
I also just started to masuda breed for a competitive shiny Drilbur. I'm breeding my current competitive 5IV adamant Excadrill and a French 5IV Absol. (I've only hatched a hundred eggs so far.)

Boy hearing all these stories makes me want to start hunting again...
Thing is with me is that I'm picky and somewhat ungrateful.
I'll get a shiny I don't want and try to trade for one I do want. Then I'll be unsatisfied that I didn't encounter it on my own luck and try to hunt it.
Example, one day I got a shiny Snivy by chance. He was awesome but I decided to trade it on the possibility of a Contrary HA being released someday. I traded him for a Petilil. And then I still went and hunted for a Petilil of my own. And now I have 2 which is cool. I dunno, just a little OCD I guess.

After an hour and a half I encounter a Modest Eevee in a Safari. Really pleased with it after the horror stories of finding the other wretched Pokemon that are in a Normal Friend Safari. I'm spoilt for choice on what to evolve it into.
On a darker note, shiny Trapinch evaded me for two and a half hours before I gave up.

With this in mind, I would vote Espeon because the shiny version of Espeon looks cooler than shiny Jolteon. >_>
As previously stated in my last couple of post i was Madusa Breeding for a Shiny Mawile. I did quit the hunt again but for good reasons. I was doing a late night WT session and i got a 4IV JPN litwick. I have all ways liked litwick so i changed the Madusa Breeding to it. I was hatching perfect 5IV offspring but non were shiny sadly. But my luck finally changed as just 10 minutes ago i hatched a Shiny litwick one the 143 egg. As went to check the IV's i was EXTREMELY disapointed to find out that this were the IV's: x/x/31/x/31/31.... I hatched a 3IV one after hatching so many flawless ones. Its still a good shiny as it has "Outstanding Potential". I just have to see if it have good IV's in Satk with a caculator. If not im going to contunue the hunt.

Modest Espeon/Jolteon?! Noo! Go for Sylveon or Vaporeon. Optimise that Special Attack. Modest is one of the best natures for those two. For Jolteon or Espeon a Timid nature would be a better fit. They need to make use of their speed.

3 weeks shiny hunting for a shiny dedenne and still no one. but now i have shiny throh, shiny nidorino and shiny nidoran male. still hunting.
Yesterday at school during lunch I was busy breeding for a perfect Jolly Zubat and on my last batch, I hatched a Quint perfect, a Hex and a Shiny Quint perfect! It was my 1st competitive shiny besides the Quint perfect Shiny Modest Rotom H I won from a giveaway last night.
While level grinding a recently received Ponyta off of Wonder Trade, I ran into a shiny Gurdurr and managed to catch it.
About 15 minutes later, I got a shiny Honedge off of Wonder Trade then.

My sister just hatched her first shiny ( an Evee ;.; ), while I still have none. She agreed to trade it with me and I told her to name it Gin. You know what she named it? gin. NOOOOO. It's stupid, but I can't use an Eevee named gin! Maybe I can trade it for something else, though my only want is an Entei ;.;
Why not trade it back and rename it? That's what I did with a shiny Furfrou I caught in my brother's game but forgot to nickname her when I sent it to mine.
