Standard Yveltal-EX/Zoroark-GX

There was a reason Yveltal-EX did so well in previous seasons - so why not pair it with the number one card from the current format and deliver a blast from the past with a little modern day consistency!?

So far I've found this list rather consistent, it hits for decent numbers easily and has some alright match-ups with today's top tier decks.

If you're like me and I'm not the only one who isn't ready to let go of Yveltal, let me know what works for you in the comments! I'd love to see how people are using the big bird in Standard.

Definitely play 10 Dark, and Fan Club over Brigette. Fan Club grabs Yveltal EX's, and because you'll almost always have a giant hand, you'll be bound to missing Elixirs because they're in your hand. I would play 3-4 Guzma, it's just a really important staple. And 4 N, 2 Cynthia is probably better, since Zoroark essentially makes N waaay less punishing and punishes the opponent more if they get an early game lead. The deck is cute, but I wouldn't count on it beating Gardy, Buzzwole, or Dusk Mane Necrozma lists. So I would probably work to make those matchup better.

I was contemplating the extra Darkness Energy and Guzma, just wan't sure what to cut. However, I never found myself needing the extra Guzma - generally if I'm desperate enough I find myself being able to Puzzle one back for a sneaky KO. I could see myself dropping an Altar for the extra Darkness, though.
I went Brigette over Fan Club because I find T1 Brigette for 2x Zorua and an O-Wing Yveltal rather optimal, I never really struggle finding an Yveltal-EX with a three count; and I figure that if I draw into it and need the Yveltal-EX bad enough/don't need to play a draw supporter, I can just use Brigette to search out the big birb. If not, the extra Brigette's are just Trade fodder.

4/2 N/Cynthia sounds all the more consistent, I'll definitely take that on board!

I'll post an updated list with your recommendations once I get home from work; cheers for the input, mate! :D

While I love Yveltal and Zoroark, I don't see the synergy between the 2 cards. What am I missing?
