Zeblock+Chandelure Deck (Help?)

Hello, I want to build a deck based around Zebstrika NXD (The one with Disconnect). I had a crazy idea for a deck that could both accomplish this, but also get Chandelure NIV (Cursed Shadow) into the active spot momentarily and apply the cursed shadow, increasing it from 40 to 70 damage per turn. However, my idea involves Vanilluxe NXD (Slippery Soles), and I am horrible at managing T/S/S and energy counts in decks. Any and all advice would be great, I'll just post what I think so far:

Pokemon:
4-4 Zebstrika Line (NIV Blitzle/NXD Zebstrika) *Item-Locker*
3-1-3 Chandelure (Promo Litwick/NIV Lampent/NIV Chandelure) *Adds Damage*
2-1-2 Vanilluxe (NXD Vanillite/NIV Vanillish/NXD Vanilluxe) *Shuffles Chandelure out of Active Spot*
3 Emolga DRX *Searches Basics*

Supporters:
2 Professor Juniper *Early Game Setup*
4 N *Late Game Disruption/Early Game Refresher*
3 Cheren *Mid-Game Accelerator*

Trainers:
4 Pokemon Catcher *Prevent opponent abusing Slippery Soles to avoid KOs*
4 Switch *Avoid using Slippery Soles if opponent's near KO/Extra damage if multiple Chandelure in play*
4 Rare Candy *To get Stage 2's out*
3 Level Ball *Searches everything except Vanilluxe/Chandelure*
2 Pokemon Communication *To search said Vanilluxe/Chandelure*
2 Rescue Scarf *To Bring Zebstrika back to your hand to keep Item-lock moving*

Energy:
9 {L} Energy

Like i said earlier, ALL advice is appreciated. I will be playtesting this deck and noting my edits if I make any.

EDIT: It skipped my mind the very low damage output from this deck just can't contend with the EXs of today, so I'm gonna stop testing this deck against other Meta decks. Input is still nice, though.

I really do like the creativity of this deck, however it's really hard to suggest what to add. I guess my issue with most decks involving Stage 2's is setting up. Unfortunately, there's no real way of stopping your opponent from attacking whilst keeping the lock in place meaning that Zebstrika could become very exposed to this. Also, have you considered Super Rod?

I have, but I opted for Rescue Scarf over them to get Zebstrika back into my hand (The mon most likely to be in the discard) so I could evolve a benched Blitzle immediately after if need be.

I played about 4 games with this deck so far, and the issue I kept coming across is getting energies out fast enough. With no energy acceleration, Zebstrika has a hard time pulling off consecutive Disconnects, especially with only 90HP. He works better in Eelektrik decks that can accelerate energies onto him, as well as take advantage of momentary Item lock (Unlike my deck, which aims to maintain lock).
