i would really like to hear ypur guys thought on my deck list for ZPS.
Its major teched out.

18 - pokemon

1 - Bouffalant
2 - Cleffa
2 - tyrouge
1 - 1 yanmega prime
1 - 0 - 1 samurott (ability)
3 - Shaymin
3 - Pachirisu
3 - zekrom


27 - trianers/supporters

2 - Dual ball
2 - energy returner
2 - judge
3 - junk arm
2 - pokemon collecter
3 - Pokemon comunication
2 - poekon reversal
2 - professer juniper
2 - Professor oaks New Theory
1 - Rare candy
2 - Revive
2 - sages training
1 - swicth
1 - twins

15 - energys

3 - Double colorless
12- Lightning
 
IMO, Bouffalant, Tyrogue and the Samurott line are fillers, and useless in this deck. Change it for Cleffas and add another line of Yanmega, so you can get a more consistent deck:

-1 Bouffalant
-1-0-1 Samurott
-2 Tyrogue
-1 Rare Candy

+ 2-2 Yanmega Prime
+ 2 Cleffa (just because you're using it, I would drop all the Cleffas too)

-3 Double Colorless

And there you have 3 empty spaces. Add another Zekrom and... I dunno, if you're using yanmega I recommend you to max out Judges and Copycats... but that would be like "hey, use my decklist" xD

i really have those in there to tech againts donphan and RDL because they are the ,ajor competitors in this format but i will try testing with the list u said

There are 4 in the format currently, but the best one is probably 27.

Alright, this deck needs some major changes.
-1 Tyrogue you never need more than 1 of this in a deck
-1-0-1 Samurott yanmega can handle donphan if you up the numbers
-1 Shaymin 2 of these is the best number
-1 Pachirisu same as above
-2 Dual Ball Pokemon Collector outclasses this
-2 Energy Returner this card is horrible, and you don't need it
-2 Professor Oak's New Theory you are using yanmega, you should use copycat
-2 Professor Juniper same as above
-1 Rare Candy without Samurott you don't need this
-2 Sage's Training you would always rather use collector, PONT, juniper, etc., rather than this
-1 Switch this deck doesn't use that
-1 Twins ZPS is a fast deck that wants to take the first prizes, if you are using this often you are doing something wrong

+2-2 Yanmega Prime Good ZPS pretty much needs more yanmega
+1 Zekrom always max these out at 4
+2 Judge with Yanmega, you will want 4 of these so yanmega can attack
+2 Pokemon Collector best basic searcher, this deck is full of basics
+2 Pokemon Reversal 4 makes this deck work, change them to Pokemon Catcher when it comes out
+4 Copycat hand refresher than works better with yanmega
+3 Defender defender is a great card in this deck for allowing zekrom to survive revenge attacks from guys like bouffalant, change to eviolite when it comes out

@Dark Void have you played with Zekrom Deck? Energy Retrieval is very useful if your Zekrom gets KO'd, you can build another one. Remember that ZPS decks need to have another strategy if donk doesn't work.
 
I haven't played extensively with zekrom, but I have played with it a bit. The strategy with them if you don't finish quickly is to use Yanmega because zekrom falls behind if your opponent gets set up. And he had energy returner, a much worse version of energy retrieval anyway.
 
lol, forgot about that card. swap the returners for retrievals, then.

about the eviolite... is already confirmed that zekrom gets 20 damage for bolt strike with eviolite attached?

It's the reason for Yanmega, and energy retrieval is not really important if you run 14 lightning energies. If you so want energy retrieval-like thingie then get Eelektrik when it comes, tho it's catchered quite easily.
 
Running 14 lighting energies doesn't mean that you'll always have 3 in your hand for build another Zekrom (or at least 2). Energy retrieval works if that happens, and you are able to get 2 lighting energies from your hand. And why using Eelektrik? Its a stage 1, it occupies important space in the bench and it can be catchered, that's why energy retrieval is better.

Revive + Energy Retrieval is a great tool in ZPS decks, no mater how many energies you have.
 
It's just that it's a rule to include ALL sets/set numbers for Pokemon that are different by set. I'd play the Promo Oshawott that can flip for sleep. It can win games :p
 
i considered dark voids post and am really interested. btw i do not have the cards but i would like to do some testing with this list on redshark? would anyof u guys be up for that cuz i would like to test the deck out before i start tradeing for the cards and buying them.

and one more thing. should i swicth pokemon reversal with pokemon catcher when it comes out?
 
You need to add a Strategy to the Deck in the first post.
