Battle Starter Decks
The Battle Starter Decks were released in Japan on November 20th for 500 yen (about $5) each. Each deck focuses on either Grass, Fire, Water, or Lightning-type Pokemon. The decks are named Defense, Offense, Skill, and Speed respectively.
Defense Deck
Tropius – Grass – HP80
Basic Pokemon
[G] Green Call: Flip 2 coins, for each heads choose 1 Grass-type Pokemon from your deck, show it to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.
[G][C] Gust: 20 damage.

Turtwig – Grass – HP50
Basic Pokemon
[G] Leech Seed: 10 damage. If you damage the Defending Pokemon, Turtwig recovers 10 HP.

[G][C] Razor Leaf: 30 damage.
[G][C][C] Sleep Powder: 50 damage. Flip a coin, if heads the Defending Pokemon is now Asleep.

Stage 2 – Evolves from Grotle
[G][C][C] Giga Drain: 40 damage. Restore Torterra’s HP by an amount equal to the damage dealt to the opponent’s Active Pokemon.

Flip a coin, if heads restore 60 HP to 1 of your Pokemon, and remove all Special Conditions from that Pokemon.

Flip a coin, if heads show 1 Pokemon card from your deck to your opponent, then put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

MC’s Chatter – Supporter
Flip a coin. If heads, draw 3 cards from your deck. If tails, draw 2 cards from your deck.
You can only use 1 Supporter card during your turn. To use it, place it next to your Active Pokemon and discard it at the end of your turn.
