Starting this month, players who attend Japan’s Gym tournaments will receive a new promo pack containing one of seven promo cards. Four of them are brand new; the rest are reprints.

The chase card will be Kilowattrel ex. In English we should get it inside a future “ex Box” or within a future set. It probably won’t release here for at least six months.
Thanks goes to JustInBasil for the translations!

Scrafty simply tutors five cards - really good value, but I don't know if it isn't too easy to punish, even when the game slows down.
Lottery Stick looks like a fine consistency cards for beginner decks, but it's very likely to whiff completely and leave the user sad.

Lax stall buff bc so many supports

Return Charge seems like it would be fun to use with some Iron Thorns or Mimikyu&Rescue Board combo where you constantly load up Kilowattrel and then slam your opponent…but the energy has to come from hand and one boss and it’s over, so that’s not actually viable unfortunately.

I don't know if the Lottery stick is as good when we have Pokegear 3.0 which looks at the top 7 instead of top 4. You are more likely to hit a supporter with Pokegear than lottery stick.

Unless Pokegear ends up rotating, i would just say Pokegear is better.

Yeah the only argument to be made for Lottery stick is that it can get more than one supporter from the top 4, but the odds of even seeing two are so low and on top of that it’s a draw supporter so you’re banishing or discarding the others you got anyway so Pokegear is definitely better.

Tired me thought the Loto Stick was a weaker Pokegear for a second. I mean it is cause you're gonna play one supporter anyway.

The Scrafty would be really good if not for hand disruption, and even with hand disruption if you can Salvatore into it turn 1 and they don't have Iono in hand it's 3 free cards, which could really help.

Pokegear doesn’t rotate for another 2 years? Next rotation is F and then G would rotate. I think that’s way too far in advance to know what supporter search we have available.

It's "roto stick," not "loto stick," meaning it either holds a Rotom Phone or rotates around, possibly both. ;)

Seriously, though, you'd probably be either wanting more than four Pokégear or running a high density of Supporters if you ran this card. It's an interesting option for very, very specific decks, but not much more for the time being.
