it is basic. Trainer's pokemon don't evolve (unless they are Gym Leaders). Anyway, he didn't get such a good score...

I would like to try this out.

Togepi
40 HP
Normal
Basic Pokémon

( C ) Cuteness (I know, dumb name for a move)
On your opponent's next turn, your opponent must flip a coin before attacking. If tails, that attack does nothing.

( CC ) Headbutt 20

Weakness: Fighting
Resistance:
Retreat Cost: 1

Would that do?

I'll give it a go. Here's my entry for round one:

Mr. Mime - 60 HP - P

P - Draw Stopper
Draw a card. If you now have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent, the Defending Pokémon can't attack during your opponent's next turn.

PC - Slap Around - 10+
Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 10 damage plus 20 damage times the number of heads.

WK: P / RS: None / RC: C

I'M A SHE!!!

Mew
50 HP
Type: [P]
BASIC

Weakness: [P]
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: [C]

Poké-BODY: Legendary ancestor of all
Mew can use the attacks of all Pokemon in play that are the same type as energy attached to Mew as its own. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) At the end of each of your turns, if Mew is your Active Pokémon, put 1 damage counter on Mew.
For the record: There are cards with no attacks, eg. CG Igglybuff... Low HP (for a legendary) due to the power.

Here's mine:
Misdreavus
50 HP
Psychic Type
P Spook
Put one damage counter on one of your opponent's Pokemon.
©© Abandon Hope
Draw a card for each Pokemon in play. Put 5 damage counters on Misdreavus.
Weakness: D
Resistance -30: F
Retreat Cost: ©

I still don't get what you're saying. If it's about the example I had, it's just justifying the Mew having no attack of its own. If it did, it'd be a tad broken anyways. :/
