Hey all! A few people inquired about how to easily get their screenshots and images from Pokemon GO onto their computer to post here on PB! Here's how.

1)
  • Android Users, press both volume buttons and the power button simultaneously to take a screenshot of whatever is on the screen at the time. The picture will save to your gallery/photos.
  • iPhone Users, press both the home button (big round one) and the power button at the same time to take a screenshot. The picture will save to your camera roll/photos.
2) Get the pictures to your computer

There are a few good ways to do this. One is sending yourself an email/FB message from your phone with the pictures attached, then downloading them to your computer.

3) Drag and drop the images directly into your post from your computer.

From here, you can select a "thumbnail" or a "full size" image. Thumbnails are preffered but will show up small. You have to click them to see a bigger size. Full size images are quite large usually and should be tucked in a spoiler so they don't take up the whole page initially when showing up for other members.

If you want more control over resizing, you can try an image host:

After the pictures are on your computer, upload them to an image host. www.tinypic.com and www.photobucket.com are tried and tested. After those photos are up, copy the image url (also called direct link) and put it in [IMG ] tags on your PokeBeach post. You can do this easily by hitting the photo button when posting, or type out the following code:

Code:
[img]YOUR IMAGE URL.com[/img]

Once posted, the image will be visible in your post. Be sure to check for resizing when you upload too - some images may show up GIANT. Worst case senario, tuck these into a spoiler so they don't eat up the page.

Hope some of you find this useful. Look forward to seeing your Pokemon GO spoils and stories! :)
