You cannot stop me. Darth Vader will become more powerful than - Whoops! Wrong response. :] The actual concept and purpose of this thread is similar to something I was talking about with Doc. I agree that we should have a "Science and Philosophy thread" it needs to be more organized and truly official and endorsed by the MAWDS.

Heh Science is win.

I think DNA modifying is alright, up to a point. I.E. Modifying your DNA so your child doesn't have a crippling genetic disease-OK, modifying disease so your child has Blond hair-Not OK.

Agreed, although it depends what you mean by crippling. If it's something that can kill it or disable it, then yes, but otherwise it should be left.
