  • I'm in the same boat as DNA, more or less. I have the digital version of FE: Awakening because the special edition FE 3DS came with it like that, and I also have AA5 as a digital copy because that's not getting released as a hard copy. I plan on buying physical copies whenever possible because I love to be able to share them with friends, or my husband, and I just have a lot more freedom with physical copies. For example, right now the FE 3DS is my husband's (and the XY one we have is mine), so when I want to play FE:A again, I'm going to have to borrow his 3DS, which is kind of awkward.
    ME TOO!
We have so much in common! <3
Athena, They don't have that many megas and I think they should complete the attack animations and standard animations for all forms and genders. It's odd seeing a Male Rattata, but female Raticate.
nah, it's fine. The only spoiler I got for AA5 was that there was some character with a bird and a reference to Sharknado.
Agh, your conversation with DNA about Ace Attorney on his profile made me think I accidentally got spoiled for AA5...then I remembered the name of a certain character and I facepalmed
Athena, yeah, I hold down the button, yell, and release the button. It doesn't seem to register. Though, I generally prefer using the buttons anyway (I'm similar when on a computer; I can type some things faster than I could C/P them otherwise).

AA4 could have been really good if it had a bit more delving into stories and stuff, but it ended up as just okay. Case 4 was the only one that had any point at all - AA2 was similarly devoid of plot, though, so not much is done there, yet AA3 does pick up right where AA2 left off and has a plot second to none (I'd say its plot is even better than AA5's, honestly - and not just because it gives a good feeling of closure at the end).
    Expect a response to your PM sometime soon. I've been a little busy as of late. ^_^;;
Athena, yeah, that makes sense. I'm always at a dilemma of whether to do MEI or AA4 first, but since we have an actual chronology now I will probably tackle MEI first. (Before I was always conflicted - do I take the different style one now, or end with it?) I definitely did like what they did with Apollo in 5 - they actually gave him a backstory, and he got cooler too. Like he actually knows what he's doing. (Not like he didn't before, but now it's more obvious.)

I do like Ema, but her theme song does get on my nerves after hearing it so many times - I think AA1 really did that to me, since there her theme is obnoxiously chirpy - in AA4 it's done better (but Gumshoe's theme will always be the best). My favorite line will still always be "Quiet please! It's snack time." though. My first reaction when seeing her was "I RECOGNIZE HER <3"

Fulbright is a card among cards; he's one of the most lovable characters in the entire series.

I have tried doing the shout-out bits for trial and investigation, but each time I try it doesn't work. I'm not sure what distance to shout from or how loud to shout either (or even what intonation to use!), so more often than not I just end up doing it manually. Sometimes I've done it for AA1, which is the only game I can get it to work with moderate success.
I'm in the middle of mine, but I need to actually bother to go start Apollo Justice, Miles Edgeworth, and of course AA5 (which will be the 2nd time I've run through AA5).

Thing is, for this run, I decided to do something different - have my dad watch me do the cases, while I do the investigation phases on my own time. I was acting out the voices for all the characters in the trial, so it was a real challenge trying to fit all the voices in and remember them all. The female voices were the hardest because...well...I can't do them very well. Mia Fey was the only one I could really emulate. For Pearl I just decided to give her an impossibly deep voice.

However, I am not sure how I'd pull the run off with the last few games. My dad's favorite characters are, understandably, Wright, Edgeworth, and Gumshoe. AA4 only has Wright and he's in a very minor role (excluding the climax); MEI has Edgeworth and Gumshoe but there is zero delineation between investigation and 'trial', so that would be problematic; and AA5 lacks Gumshoe completely and Wright doesn't have that much air-time either - though he gets more than in AA4 and there's no medium there to save him (which my dad doesn't like).

So, what I'm thinking is, see how he likes AA4 (Apollo Justice), do MEI on my own, and then go to AA5 and see how he likes that. ...I need SOMETHING to play soon since I'm almost done with my current game project (Sonic Lost World), and I've been wanting to finish the AA run for a while.
    It's great :)
Also, should I delete his(hic2482w) message to me about KA from my profile?
Thank you for changing that gym leader discussion thread's title, I wasn't sure what to call it, but it needed to be changed to accommodate the conversation going on in their.

    This is for you

To be fair, the 'progress with the wrong answer' happens at least once in every game, especially Justice For All
Athena, and what makes you say that? Is it because of my over-the-top ego and European heritage?
