  • Well, not everyone can have the same opinions all the time. Zach and I just don't see eye to eye on our meta, which is fine.
That's pretty much how I felt when I played GarTaria for Regionals. I knew it wasn't the best play, but it was something I was very comfortable with, and I didn't do too terrible with it either.
Hey I see your testing a Lugia deck and I was wondering how you have done with it and what our your bad matchups and what are your good ones? Thanks.
I ran 2 Max Potion in my Darkrai/Landorus deck for Regs.
It was pretty nice to use after using E. Switch.
I have way too many Eevees...they are drowning me.
I traded for a shiny female yesterday though. :D
And I'm currently EV training an Eevee that will evolve into an Umbreon...tonight. Then I need Vaporeon and Espeon to have them all in my PokeDex.
    Interesting.
Hydreigon, Klinklang, Empoleon, Landorus/Mewtwo, and even some Blastoise use Max Potion. :p
It's just that good of a card.
    ?
I'm not sure I know what you mean.
I said it can't OHKO anything good.
He does 120 for 4 energy, right? At least one of them needs to be a Plasma Energy since he discards it to attack.
However, HTL+Virbank bring the damage from 120 to 150, which is great! But my point still stands that most decks play Max Potion. You can't keep up the attack either, since you can't get special energy back from the discard as of yet.
And even if you fist use Landorus to put 30 on an EX, that's an extra turn, and energy, that you need. And Keldeo will thank you for the 2 free prizes.
Yeah, Klinklang is good and kinda fun to use. Can be teched against, but at the cost of consistancy. So I believe it will be my play for at least one States.
Lugia? Oh yeah, I've done some testing with that. Kinda a weird format for it though. He can't OHKO anything good (though in Klinklang, it can get 2 prizes off BenchTini...hmm...) and lots of decks run Max Potion, so they get rid of the damage faster than you deal it out. Depends though, he is a great game finisher for stuff like Hydreigon.
Set up actually isn't bad or hard. I play 4-1-4 Klinklang (2 PS, 2 BW) (Klinks and Klangs from DE), 4 Rare Candy, 2 Heavy Ball, and 3 Skyla, so T2 Klinklang usually isn't a problem. BenchTini, however, is a bit of a problem. But running 1-2 Keldeo helps with that as well, since they can't OHKO him.
    I haven't ever gotten sick on a boat before...huh.
It just feels weird to be on solid ground after you've had to stand on a rocking boat almost all day.
