Yeah, her summon friends are definitely awesome, especially when you get the pirate and the angel...the others are just funny.
It's great, it really is. But knowledge of the first Vesperia (and/or knowledge of Japanese) is basically required to get through it. Patty is a hella lotta fun to play, but can get extremely complicated with her combos, which one of her forms adds which effect to which arte, etc.
