You don't /have/ to buy your decks in TCGO. You can play with the Theme Decks you get from the game and unlock packs, buy decks or more cards with Coins, trade boosters you win in Online tournaments, etc. And eventually, if you buy any TCG product, just upload the code. It's definitely slower than someone that uploads codes constantly and has a lot of cards, but it's a start. And TCGOne is mainly just for play-testing or playing formats literally older than you. So I'd suggest that you try out the official client and then, once you have enough practice, use TCGOne.

And I get you, I had almost no money when I started, and it took me 3 years of spending money and practice to actually be a good, competitive player in my area. But money is definitely a problem. Maybe if you play on TCG Online, or TCGOne?

Celever, Because it's exactly that-theory. In theory, you could do anything. Because it's theory, you can just give examples about pretty much any situation you wish (this doesn't mean said situation is realistic), thus making the card seem better than it is. Let's take M Kangaskhan EX for example. In theory, it could do a lot of damage, especially if paired up with Trick Coin or Fliptini. However in practice, no one running it runs it for its damage output or paired with any of those.

You misunderstand. Neither IE nor Muffin are from my team, but they both posted yellow. If my pattern starts yellow yellow, can I continue my chain with clap even though my team didn't "start" the chain?
