If I remember correctly, there was an ancient civilization that was obsessed with war, and built giant armored suits. Their civilization was destroyed as a result of so much war, and as a result, they coded their memories on gold plates called Medals. Thousands of years later, the Medals were discovered by a manufacturing company, then were mass produced and sold as the main component (they were the "brain" and "soul") of Medabots, who were created by the same company. The original Medals were called Rare Medals, and created the most powerful bots, like the one in my avy, Medabee. Meda-battling is a sport where two bots fight each other, and the winner gets the best part from their opponent. Eventually, the hero has to stop the villain from beating the strongest bots and stealing their medals in order to conquer the world with a Meda-army, which comes to a climax in the Meda-fighter world tournament.

That's the basic jist of it, anyways.

"Yeah, let's sell fighting robots with Machine Guns and Missile Launchers to kids. That'll be great!"

And there's the main idea of the first season for you.

I only watched a few minutes or so, I can't stand watching things in a language I can't understand without subtitles. I'm well aware of the genre as well. Atleast I watched it when everyone else was asleep.
