  • Well, you posted on my profile, and I thought you were trying to be friendly, so I would then continue the conversation by saying I was fine. Like a good person, I would then ask how you were.
EonEye99, sorry for responding to you so late!

As for Regigigas, it basically revolved around one key card, Regigigas LV.X. Its main forte is its absolutely titanic HP, combined with a Poke-Power that, although it gives your opponent a prize, keeps him alive perpetually. The three Pixies from LA (Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf) were used in the deck not only for their effects, but also to serve as Sacrifice fodder. Mesprit's exceptionally noteworthy for its power-lock effect, and due to Sacrifice, bench space is not an issue with any pixie.

Gigas would use either Recover Mechanism or Drag Off Gigas as a base, depending on style of play (the former for just sheer power and a bit of sniping, the latter for disruption). After that, you can pretty much add whatever techs you feel help the deck the best. The most crucial ones were the three pixies, and later on, Expert Belt and then Twins and Black Belt - all of which exploit the prize exchange very well. (With an Expert Belt plus Snowpoint Temple in play, Gigas X can reach a staggering 190 HP!) Regice is also noteworthy as it can actually set up a T2 Giga Blaster. (Discard 2 energy for its power, use Sacrifice to attach them to Gigas, and by then Gigas should have 2 energy on him already, so fire away.)

I'd call mine RegiAwesome/Crazy Gigas/Gigasbox because it was built to adapt to any situation, and Gigas was not the deck's only attacker. There are a thousand ways to play Gigas, and the best way to go was to play it in response to the meta around you.
Thinking about ZPST, Durant, or Reshiphlosion. ZPST is awesome. Durant is hilarious. And Reshiphlosion is solid. I'll proxy them all and then decide which I would like to play.
Used to. :/ I'm still somewhat knowledgeable about the game. Mom took away my cards months back because I got too obsessed over it. -__- It cleared up a lot of time for school and tennis, but now that I'm a senior and I want to enjoy myself a little, I would love 'em back. Hopefully I'll get 'em back on my 18th birthday in December.
EonEye99, glad to hear it! Yeah, we're pretty welcoming. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.
If you want to get to know me (and possibly talk TCG), call me on skype... my username is z-man1994. Nice to meet you :)
EonEye99, Cobalion has been working very well for me. And yeah, I've been playing the TCG ever since I was a wee young lad. I'm very stoked that I can drive myself to tournaments now because I don't have to rely on my dad not being busy so I can play a lot more than normal.
EonEye99, I've actually in my 7th season of competitive play, and I've been playing in some capacity for probably 10 years now.

I can't decide which deck I like better right now, Cobalion/Kyurem/Electrode or TZPS. I'm probably gonna play them both at Cities (unless Cobalion proves to be a total boss since I'm planning on playing it at the first Cities that I go to).

But Reshiboar really is a good deck, props for picking a hard deck to play.
