  • Heat led every second, Thunder had a run, but just wasnt enough. This sir, is why the Heat are here.
dmaster, I dont recall the Thunder winning any. I know they werent the same, but either were the Heat.
dmaster, The Heat do have a stable team, Chalmers, Haslem, DWade, Lebron, and Bosh. 2 years in a row.
dmaster, Yeah, thats great the Sefolosha can defend, but he cant put up points, rebounds, or assists, and Lebron could easily see through his tricks. Perkins and Cook are on and off with it, but yes, when they are, they are pretty good I guess. Ibaka can shot block, but so can most Heat players. Miamis big three are already grown men who are easily hall of famers when the time comes, and could be better than Pierce, Garnett, and Allen. LeBron has won more MVP's, DWade is a better individual player, and Bosh is good from both sides of the court.
dmaster, It doesnt seem like MANY good players. Durant, Westbrook, sometimes Harden, sometimes Perkins. Derek Fisher isnt what he used to be and the others are just scrap metal.
dmaster, But the Bulls still won Game 1, had it been a 1 game series, Noah wouldnt have been injured either.

The Heat may come off as posers, but they are smart as a unit in general. Erik Spolestra can figure out the kinks and still work it out im sure. Just watch and see ;)
dmaster, 1 Game doesnt prove much. It could go back and forth like any series. If 1 game decided it, the Bulls would have beat the Sixers, the Pacers would have beaten the Heat, heck, the Spurs would have beaten the Thunder.
dmaster, I dont know, its a pretty up and down series potentially.
dmaster, Which is why the Heat winning would be insane :)
dmaster, I did, but I also predicted the Thunder to start strong, which they can :3
dmaster, Darn, the Thunder beat the Heat!!!! Even though I planned it, as a loyal basketball fan (despite my Canadian nationality) I would LOVE a clean sweep.
dmaster, But the Celtics ARE pretty good, the only problem I had was when the Pacers almost won.
dmaster, I dont know, Spolestra has been with the Heat for awhile, with experience to boot. He knows what he is doing, after leading the Heat to the finals, not 1, but 2 years in a row.
dmaster, Yeah, the depth sucks, but what makes them is the coaching. I look at it this way, you could have the worst coach and the best team, and not win any games, but you could have the best coach and no so great team, and still come out on top. The clippers had depth and no coach, the pacers had a coach and a semi-decent team, and almost knocked the Heat out. Erik Spolestra is a decent coach, and can motivate his team to play depth, and play strength, and guard Durant heavily, and have Haslem make those shots.
dmaster, I think the intimidation of Lebron James and DWade guarding Durant will slow him down. And yes, they do have other shooters, but the Heat do as well. Udonis Haslem has to be one of the most under rated players in the league, and for good reason too. He may not have the stats, but he can attack the defense.

What was the record between the 2 teams in the regular season?
dmaster, Well, OKC may be young and have young stars, but DWade and Lebron>Potential Talent As Durant can go off, but can also be stopped by the Heat defense, and Harden wont have perfect 3-pt shooting every night, and Westbrook, well, he isnt going to carry this team on his shoulders. Any of DWade, Lebron, or Bosh (possibly) could carry them on his shoulders, if god for bid, 2 are hurt. In which case, 2 are healthy, and Bosh could be back and starting in Game 1.
dmaster, I know, but they were down and SA got cocky, etc.

Well yeah, unless a miracle happens and Chalmers scores 45 a game. :p
