It's a mean looking pokemon with high intelligence and psychic powers, all useful traits to plan heists. If Hypno or Alakazam wasn't around in gen 1/2, and instead Orbeetle is there, it fits right in their place. Just look at the Orbeetle art there for crying out loud, if that doesn't scream...

I completely forgot about Lilligant. Good call. Then you can probably run Iron Leaves as a finisher/secondary pivot attacker if you dont have another Yanmega set up. Seems to be a fun Grass Box archetype.
