While you're writing, always try to make it better. There's no point in writing so much if you don't try to figure out what works better than what you're currently doing.
No worries.
But you have to think about it. Say I actually make 30 chapters, a chapter a week. There's only 52 weeks in an year, so I'd be working on this fic for more than half an year.
