  • .-. In all honesty, I'm glad you didn't because all I saw was blatant trolling.
    I meant who was saying the quote. It just has the quote, and it should say who said it (eg. "That's scary!" Yoshidude10 screamed in horror.).

    LMK = let me know.
    I guess so. When I hear the phrase "made fun of", it makes me think I did something wrong, which I really don't think I did. Feel free to LMK what I did wrong. Did I come on too strong? Was I too blunt?

    lolololololololol xD

    I should probably write my story...Chapter three....Oh well almost forgot

    In what way are incomplete sentences fancy. >.> They never have been, and never will be.

    Buu uh, I'll respond to you in a minute.

    And I heard you were making fun of my critiques, as Apollo called it? Whatever. I tried to help you, and that's how you decided to respond to it.

    kkthnx, later Gatr!
    OMG!!

    Nothing much. Just bored. lol

    How about you?
    Yoshidude's also new to the critiquing scene, much like you. Frankly, what he does is no different than what I do under the radar (i.e. via PM). I've actually been doing a lot of private proofreading for people lately that resulted with me returning PMs in full with bolded notes throughout them on what should be corrected. I think I sent you a PM like that too not long ago for the version of Protection's third chapter you wanted me to look at before you went and posted it anyways...
    I'll check it in a moment, but some things I need to run past you.

    1.) Don't always trust MS Word's grammar and spell check! It's wrong part of the time when it comes to weeding out sentence fragments, and can't tell full sentences from incomplete ones. That's why you have to learn to make better judgment calls on your own with your writings rather than relying completely on a computer program to catch things.

    2.) I already talked to Yoshidude about how he quotes the entire passages rather than parts. I've given him the benefit of the doubt and allowed it so long as he doesn't do it constantly (which he hasn't yet). I even made a note in the rules about it earlier today. If it does become a problem, then I may stricten my policy on it again.
    I did earlier and they seemed like valid points to me. I won't vouge that Yoshidude has superb writing skills, but you have more to learn yourself. So don't make fun of his critiques!
    MrGatr, I did read the first chapter! Looking forward to being in chapter two.
