Mudkip4321, you should start releasing a few. Seriously - there's no way you can need all 24 boxes! Start by getting rid of duplicates.

Mudkip4321, finding shinies is difficult; there's no denying that.
The easiest way to find one currently is the Masuda Method - breed 2 Pokemon that came from games from different countries. I managed to get a Litwick relatively quickly this way. It sextuples the odds of an egg hatching as a shiny, and although those odds are still less than a tenth of a percent, it's better than the regular odds by a sizable margin.
