Poetry was never really my strong suit, I'm sad to say, and sort of gain/lose interest in it depending on my mood. I would recommend looking into ones inspired by Edgar Alan Poe since I know a lot of poets draw ideas from his works. If it's for an analysis assignment, though, don't you need something from a specific subject matter or would anything be okay?
