    I was going to put forth another short story contest, but Zyflair proposed doing a tweeked version of the "unfinished page" contests that used to be held a while ago to ease up the difficulty.
    The point of the competition is to bring some diversity of ideas into play to create a story. Besides, you never know what people will think of your work until they see it.
    OK, then. I added you to the roster. But I doubt I'll do it for anymore people.

    It's not a big deal to me, but I didn't expect the first round to be so explosive in terms of sign-ups. Besides, some people will likely drop out the moment they realize they just can't think of anything to write. It's happened with previous contests, so I expect it now too (just not immediately).
    I'd say at least a few weeks out. It depends on how quickly people who've already signed-up get their submissions in.

    However, if you want to enter this time, I can "pencil" you in. It's my contest and I can make exceptions if I want (actually, I was considering allowing another entry or two yesterday, but decided against it last minute).
    Yes. It's first-come first-serve, though, so you have to try and be quick. The portal announcement was delayed this time, so that didn't help matters either.
