Yeah, outspeeding base 70s might be a better benchmark actually.
I actually think putting any EVs in speed might be bad with Dragon Tail. I dunno, maybe with a SR/EQ/DClaw/Roar set I would consider it. This way you can acually play against the Adamant DNite / Breloom safer without going to negative priority.
I'll actually have to try a hand at bulky chomp! It sounds like an interesting concept.
In terms of speed, I think the lowest acceptable would be like base 70 (aka Jolly Breloom). I would probably fiddle around with the speed and bulk until I got a combination that I liked. The fastest I would probably consider is the base 90ers, any faster and I would feel like I'd be losing too much bulk in the process.
Gotta love that bulk, espicially when you only need 188 HP EVs to reach 404 HP. Unsure of the speed benchmark to reach. 60 with Jolly outspaces Adamant Lucario and thus all neutral max speed 90s. 160 outspaces max speed positive base 90s.
or do full speed just to get the jump on base 100s. Too bad the only base 101s are immune to EQ, so outspeeding is pointless.
