Nvm, forgot a resisted STAB is just as strong as a neutral hit. X-Scissor just has a higher chance to ohko without the need for hazards.

Tyranitar/Stoutland
Stoutland is weak to bulky physical walls like Skarmory and Gliscor so a strong special attacker pairs well. A lure like Smack Down Landorus could also work; Landorus also resists Stoutland's Fighting-type weakness.
I'm actually a little impartial to Sandslash as a Rapid Spinner. I would rather run X-Scissor (if it gets that) to break through a Slowbro, Virizion, or Breloom easier.
Where do we want to go with this? Play around with new toys like Sandslash and Stoutland?

I found out why teams get cleared on Showdown. Someone on Smogon said that teams are stored in the form of cookies and most cache cleaners clear more than your cache, I clear my cookies so my computer preforms faster, but by clearing my cookies, I clear my team. If I don't clear my my cache/cookies my computer (and Showdown) preform slower, it's quite the conundrum. =/
I'd say if you use Showdown, write or type your Team(s) somewhere and keep it near your computer, it's really annoying when I have to sit there for 20 minutes trying to remember my team. (write Pokemon, EVs, IVs, Moves, Natures, Abilities, Items, ect)Please do your Mixed tiers battle with R-C. Thank you.

On Vaproreon, I switched Hydro Pump for Ice Beam and on Jirachi I switched Steal Rock for Water Pulse. Also, I added Ferrothorn.

What's better for the last spot of a Rain team? Ferrothorn, Amoonguss or Keldeo? (either form) The rest of my team is Politoed, Vaporeon, Thundurus-T, Tornadus-T and Jirachi. (I'm kinda trying to re-learn competitive VG battling so please forgive me if this is a weird question)

Pride, the problem is it needs those boosts to actually do something. 70% of the stuff running around are special threats so it getting a chance to setup is hard.
It isn't immune to TSpikes like Exca which makes me sad.
Oh, I just realized Sandslash outspeeds Scarf Thundurus in sand. That's actually nifty. Too bad it has low sp. def in a metagame filled with fast special attackers.
Wow, it actually KOs Keldeo at +2 and 2HKOs standard Gliscor after some previous damage (a little around 25% damage). Some faith has been restored for sand!
Pride, and this is why we should unban, say, Garchomp.
It still gives sand a niche, however I'm doubtful it would be used as a sweeper but more as a scarfer. The prevalence of faster threats like Scarf Thundurus, Terrakion, Virizion, Thundurus, etc, would make SD sets hard to run.

It feels just like a new gen doesn't it? Of course, it could be just because everyone is using the new mons and not stuff like Scizor or regular landorus. I didn't even know Amoongus was a Pokemon until now.
I do have a love/hate relationship with regenerator though. It makes battles seem more like stall. I hope next gen brings Regenerator only to frail Pokemon like Meinshao and not stuff like Slowbro. :3 -
