Flat drawings are easier than three-dimentional ones, and colored shading is harder to do than flat coloring. I'm probably better at handdrawing than I am at digital artwork, especially since the only program I can use for it is Gimp (and, even then, all I do is just redraw over sketches I've scanned and uploaded onto my laptop).

Good artists normally do have a natural talent for it, though. That much I can agree with you on.

Also, yes, I like using avatars of my own characters for that very reason. My art skills aren't the greatest, though, no matter how much practice I get at drawing. Actually, that's part of why I put so much more time into writing because it's an easier skill to master.

Also, before I forget, these are my fanfics in question, The Crusade of Dark Nostalgia series: Feral Twilight and Biohazard. I'm trying to work a little more on the latter since it hits on a better topic than the first. They essentially go together as sequels, but they don't directly interconnect. Actually they take place centuries apart from one another with Biohazard taking place in post-human era where Pokemon have become more intelligent, started creating their own civilizations, and the like. Feral Twilight, on the other hand, chronicles the events that lead up to a human extinction event.

My fake Eeveelution Obseon. It's an older picture, though, and not very good. I haven't gotten around to re-drawing it yet.

The general idea behind Obseon is that it was an Eevee that was supposedly neglected by its trainer. Said Eevee eventually died, but it had so much hatred towards its owner, that its spirit came back in the form of a wraith bent on getting revenge. It's so obsessed with its anger that it would follow its former master to the ends of the earth just to punish them.

Nothing much either. I was working a lot until this week when things suddenly dropped off again. I'm a flooring installer, so my work depends a lot on when people need carpet/vinyl/etc. installed and if I get hired to do jobs for them. I had a lot of work the past few weeks, but I'm suddenly off again.

Also, I have some fanfics here I've been meaning to update, but I've been kind of lazy about writing new chapters for them.
