Sounds like a plan to me. I know someone who buys an entire box on the scene for full price without bulk discount just because he can. I don't go that way, though.

Yeah about the selling thing, but when I was at my BW pre-release, so many people (I think 20?) came and dried up the packs. If the same case happens again, nobody buys the Theme Decks, so it'll still porbably be safe for me to get them.

The Code Cards have little-to-no meaning to me (I may want to keep some, escpecially the Theme Deck ones), so I'll most likely trade them off to some of the younger kids there for junk rares so I can complete the set sooner. I'm actually planning on completing the set there, maybe besides the SR's.

I couldn't go to my Undaunted one, much to my dismay, but I've been making up for it. I really love prerelease promos, so I'll have to try and trade or buy the other legal ones. Apparently Pichu as a promo for HS was so broken, because everyone got their perfect bench up first turn!
Also, for EP, we get code cards with every pack even after the set release, so that'll be a bonus!

And yes, I am going to an EP pre-release. I've been going to them since Undaunted, with my only missing one being CoL. I'm probably going to bring extra money too to get the Theme Decks and some extra packs if they allow it.

Those things are amazing value and a great time. If you're not, you should consider it.
