Scorched Feathers, Octillery, Beartic, Walrein, and Malamar aren't starters. But if you wanna play that game, then...
Sauropod (Meganium, Aurorus), Frog (Poliwag line, Froakie line, Toxicroak), Pachycephalosaurus (Breloom, Rampardos, Haxorus (50/50)), Crocodile (Totodile line, Sandile line), Dragon (Charizard, dragonite, Salamence, Druddigon, Palkia, Zekrom, etc), Monkey (Chimchar line, elemental monkeys, aipom), Aquatic turtles (squirtle line, Carracosta), so on so forth. Basically my point is, just because they're the same animal doesnt mean that there can't be more like it, or else Pikachu, Marril, and a few others wouldnt exist simply because Rattata is a mouse and so are they.

Scorched Feathers, Yeah, and the rabbit starter I forgot is already a pokemon that isn't a starter. It's already Water/Fairy and based off the moon and tides. So, I'm thinking of making an Octopus/Squid, Polar Bear, or Walrus starter. The octo/squid could use ink to write from it's fingertips or whatever, the polar bear could partially look like a paint brush, and the walrus could be doing ice sculptures with it's tusks (dex entry specifically)

Scorched Feathers, Okie dokie, smokey. speaking of which, I'm reviving an old starter as the new Teddiursa/Cubchoo/Pancham. It's a grass/fire-type sun bear inspired by Smokey the Bear and Typhlosion

Scorched Feathers, Does a story line count? Or can I just draw them on paper? I dont feel like drawing them on PC for a long time

Scorched Feathers, I thought I cant after 2 weeks of it not being posted on... Also, I'm focusing on the story for now before I focus on pokemon again. I accidentally ended up leaving something after the evil team was defeated that sounds like they could end up returning. I looked up some cool names for if they did and I got this: Ephemeral (Chrome) and Eternal (Spectrum), like the way B2 and W2 were. But, anyway, I'm almost done with the story since I've gotten almost to the Victory road part... Unless I add a story after the elite 4...

To answer your question, I'm actually writing a twisted version of the Soul Silver Nuzlocke I'm doing as my first writing piece on these forums.
