  • SotH, If you're sure~ lol this makes no sense you're supposed to be Triforce of Largeness of Courage not Wisdom. xD And I'm supposed to be power.
SotH, I don't know if it's possible to really suck at that game. You can save at any point during the game, and if you slip up you can always soft-reset to the last point you saved.

I forgot to mention, during trials you DO have a lifebar, and after 5 mistakes in court (or so) you lose the case. However you can always load a save file either from your last save point, or from the start of each "chapter" within the trial.
SotH, as you are probably aware, the Ace Attorney series is a courtroom drama style video game. You play as a rookie defense attorney Phoenix Wright (in the first three games) and in each case you have to defend a client who has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

You have to investigate around for clues, and then in court cross-examine witnesses in order to discover the truth. It's got an incredibly well-written plot, and it has TONS of humorous moments. It's only truly difficult the first time around (any subsequent plays you can just memorize the paths you took), but it's still fun each time (mostly for the plot).

The first one (simply called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) can be found relatively inexpensively; Gamestop sells it for $13 used plus tax. It lays the foundation for the rest of the series and I recommend you start there. Or, to save money, if your mom still has the games, you can ask to borrow one (restarting cases won't affect save data if you've already finished a case).

The best titles in the series, in my opinion, are the 1st one and the 3rd one (Trials and Tribulations). The 2nd one (Justice for All) feels a bit weak in comparison to the others, but it is definitely the most difficult.

If you've got any other questions about it feel free to ask me! I'm an AA-series fanatic and I possess all five titles in English. (The fourth one has a different star character, and the fifth one is more of a spinoff.)
