The Illustration Rare version was never part of the Japanese set, but instead a promo given alongside booster box purchases. I would imagine if it'll be released internationally it will likely be as a promo or part of a special set later on in the year

Nope, the Grimmsnarl and Metagross decks are definitely not in Journey Together. As seen in the recent post, Salamence and Volcanion are getting SIR cards

To me 10 ex cards doesn't make much sense as it would leave Hop with no Illustration Rares at all since Snorlax would be between Reshiram and Furret, Corviknight would be between Lycanroc and Reshiram (where N's Zorua is likely taking the slot), and Rookidee through Cramorant would all be after...
