That's not true, some cards are just dieing from the format for a while for some strange reason. Last year Magneboar lost a lot of play because of Yanmega but it went and won worlds. Now Yanmega is losing play, however it's still a good card. Vileplume variants are very rare, the only one being Vileplume/Reuniclus and even that isn't so popular. There are plenty of cards in this format, it just takes a smart person to stumble across the right ones. Mew is missing out on a lot of play too.

Vulpix Yolk, I think VS Seeker is amazing. Before the rotation I had this amazing reshiboar list with a VS Seeker Junk Arm Supporter Engine. It was really good, and I can imagine how good it'd be in a lot of the newer decks. Poke Drawer is still so meh in this format though, without Uxie or Claydol you can't get it so easily, you have to refresh your hand constantly with PONT or Juniper. Although I want all these things I'm not sure if it'd change the metagame for good, because of course everyone would have them. I'm still expecting a rouge to come out of nowhere and beat everything, people are being so closeminded this year. But that seems to happen every year in a way I guess.
