That first part mentioned already runs about $100 for a decent quality case with dividers like they have in this set. The case is essentially just included as a bonus because let's be real the 30 booster packs is what everyone is really after.

Isn't it just the case and 30 packs though? I think all of the other accessories are sold separately otherwise wouldn't they mention that it's all bundled together?

That's correct, you're basically buying a fancy booster box. Everything else is separate. The image they showed is just an example usage (though it would be funny if they had Rocket brand water bottles)

Sooo no way getting your hands on this when you live outside of Japan, having no japanese address (forwarding addresses usually can't win in this lottery system) and no japanese phone number?

I can go you one further in the sad boy hours category. I'll actually be IN Japan when the Rocket Set is released, but the issues around securing product via lottery (Japanese phone number, real Japanese address) remain :'(

Yeah but once you factor the sleeves, the playmat, the other accessories not even talking the 30 packs $100 seems like a steal

DIY would cost more unless you thrift a nice case. Also forgetting its an official pokemon product. The case only has 30 packs in it. the accessories are sold separately. The image is just an example of what the case would be used for with their accessories.

I think I may make one of these. It sounds not too difficult for us in the US who won't be able to get any besides paying 1k (I am assuming these will be on eBay for $1000 USD at least).

Buy a slick black attache case off amazon. They range from 50-100 bucks.
Find a high quality Team Rocket logo letter R. Maybe Redbubble or a plastic logo off Etsy.
measure it to get the logo centered and super glue that sucker on.

I saw one for auction at $1200 already - crazy!
I would definitely use this for everyday stuff just because (if I manage to get one for a decent price). Can you imagine the flex if you bring this to a tournament, or even regular league play at the LGS? lol
