  • SotH, ...I have no idea.
I'm a bit of a fan of RPGs, so I suppose that can be called my favorite genre. I'm also a fan of a good plotline (hence my love for the Ace Attorney series and the hair-pulling Fire Emblem), as it's something I can resonate with.

I don't really own much else videogame wise as I like to stick with what I know. I've tried new things a lot before and have been met with disappointment frequently.

hence why there are very VERY few DS games I find appealing; I'm a hard-core GBA fanboy
SotH, I'd rather play a game I can really get in to with only a little bit of annoying stuff, rather than a game that I would see as just okay with more obvious annoying stuff.
SotH, I actually just went to Wikipedia to read the article and I see this:
It stars Chibiterasu, a small celestial wolf born from Amaterasu, protagonist of Ōkami, and features much of the same gameplay as its predecessor, including the Celestial Brush which allows players to freeze the gameplay and draw shapes or patterns using the touch screen.
It's just like Pokemon Ranger. DO NOT WANT. >_<
SotH, when I saw trailers, it looked way too cartoony for me to enjoy. I just couldn't equate it with being a "good" game.
SotH, I thought that PS2 was the other system for it; I knew there was one other but couldn't remember.
Either way I only own handhelds, so the point is moot anyway.

And before you ask, I am aware of the existence of Okamiden.
After reading what kind of game Okami is, it's just not my cup of tea. Besides, Okami is on the Wii, which I don't own.
SotH, Oh, I just jumped to the conclusion I met you at the LCQ this year, just based on the ~4 posts I've seen you make. But the person I met was from California, so probably not you. :p
