  • I sensed that the 'ex' cards of the Loyal Three were going to be Dark-Type cards, shifting from the side of them THEY want you to see, to the side of them they don't want you to see.
Theory: Maybe Pokémon could introduce Stellar cards in SV6.5 the same way they introduced us to VSTAR cards: release a product a month before the actual set they're introduced in comes out in order to provoke interest in that mechanic. We've seen it be done with Leafeon and Glaceon's VSTAR cards a month before Brilliant Stars came out, what's stopping Pokémon from doing it again with SV6.5?

We've seen it done with many gimmicks, actually. The Snorlax GX box came out before Sun and Moon, the Magikarp and Wailord GX box came out before Team Up, the Meowth VMAX box (with it's respective V) came out before Sword and Shield, and the Mimikyu ex box came out before Scarlet and Violet.

While the later three boxes mentioned here were released about a month before the first sets to feature their respective gimmick, the Snorlax GX box was featured in December of the previous year (probably because the Snorlax GX already existed thanks to being distributed as a preorder bonus for the video games Sun and Moon over in Japan).

Thanks for giving me a crash course in more evidence.
That post surrounding the leaked and potentially fake Stellar ex cards got taken down. Still gotta learn how this spoiler system works.

I actually replied to your post saying the cards look like a bad offspring of Amazing Rares and old Crystal type cards. And asking what SCR means?
But as a general rule, don't post spoilers or leaks on this site.

    I'm new here.

These likely won't be in either of SV6.5's ex Special Sets, largely because we already have enough Charizard ex Promos to last a lifetime.
Why is Ogerpon ex getting starved of its time in the competitive spotlight?

But Ogerpon ex looks like the Ultimate Charizard ex killer.

Nah. It can ohko him sure but as soon as Ogerpon takes 1 prize Charizard just ohkos no sweat for the rest of the game. It's also harder to consistently power Ogerpon up and its attack cost means it doesn't even play nicely with the other Ogerpon. Radiant Charizard can also swing the matchup in zard's favor.
2 things about City Tournaments after Mask of Change came out.

    1. Holy Miltank, I'm seeing Dragapult ex played with practically everything. Lost Box, Pidgeot, Xatu, by itself. Never thought it would see THAT sort of play.
    2. Festival Box starring Dipplin and Thwackey took 2nd place in Osaka.
In short, today was nothing short of

Am I the only one who thinks it's disrespectful that the Ultra Beasts never got any cards after Cosmic Eclipse?

Given that Buzzwole was the eighth most popular Pokémon in Japan, just behind Pikachu, as of 2021, I'm guessing you're not the only one. For the record, Alolan forms have faired little better, with only four (Ratatta, Raticate, Exeggutor and Vulpix) appearing at the tail end of generation eight.

What makes both of these facts particularly rough is that both Alolan forms and Ultra Beasts were featured in the Sword and Shield DLC, yet Alolan forms were not featured until a year after the sets most heavily based on that DLC, and the Ultra Beasts have been completely absent.
Since Paradise Dragona is slated for September, it feels like SV6.5 might be the Terapagos V. Pecharunt set I've been theorizing about for a while.
