My Emboar caught PKRS. :D

The Ultra Ball did it. It had just under 1/4 of its health remaining, too.

Caught Volcorona after just one Poke Ball and one Ultra Ball. :D

2 is better than 1. :P If anything, it just saves you time if you're shiny hunting. Each wild Pokemon will still have the same odds of being shiny.

Like others have said, just focus on the one color that you want and the game becomes so much easier. The Espeon ones didn't appear until Level 3 so I just focused on the power-ups until then. If I had to get another color in order to keep the ball in play then so be it.

Caught a Musharna (the one waiting under the Dreamyard) as well as a few older gen Pokemon such as Radicate, Ariados, and Venemoth.

I officially give up on trying to catch Basculin. On another note, the underground section of the Dreamyard has some trainers with Pokemon at a level of 60-65. Working my way through there now with the following team: Emboar (Lvl 54) Sawk (Lvl 54) Reshiram (Lvl 52) Pansage (Lvl 33) -...

I tried it on my laptop last night but I couldn't beat Level 4. Going to have to try my desktop tonight. I guess I'll go with Espeon as well.

Got a Goldeen but still no Basculin. Soon fishy... soon...

That's exactly what I'm doing now. I'm checking every area starting from Nuvema Town. Route 17 looks promising.

I may have to trade for one as well. This is getting annoying.

Why is Basculin such a PITA to catch, even at lvl 6?

I let Reshiram knock out 5 of my Pokemon and then get Carracosta's health cut to half before trying to catch it. I threw an Ultra Ball, and what happened... a critical capture, my first one. Go figure.[hr] Change of seasons tomorrow. :D

Everyone on my team is now in the 50+ club. Elite Four, here I come. My Sawk has a new move to show you guys.

That's what I figure but I'm going to keep training them anyway. I can't wait for my Sawk to roll through those Dark Pokemon. Emboar, Carracosta, and Zebstrika are in the 50+ club now. 3 down, 3 to go.
