    Night March Variants

RE: Night March Don't mind me. This happens every time I post something after I just wake up, I always tell myself not to, but I do anyways. I swear, I'm not actually an idiot. While we're on the topic though, how does everyone handle the DCE shortage? Placing two regular energy on a pokemon...

    Night March Variants

RE: Night March Dowsing Machine allows an extra use of DCE. Is that relevant enough to use it over Computer Search? I'm leaning towards no on this, but I think it's a consideration at least.

Oh Yeah! Night March for Regionals! (Joltik / Pumpkaboo / Lampent / Mew EX)

A lot of people aren't comfortable with storm style (playing lots of cards with small effects in the same turn for an overall larger effect) decks as they aren't very common in pkmntcg. It's not easy to play this style deck, and it doesn't give as many "free wins" as other decks might. A person...

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

The two prizes on Mew can be an obsticle if your opponent can OHKO it. If your opponent can do that they can OHKO every pokemon in your deck, so the two prizes become a weakness. The reason for Mew EX in many Night March decks is that it lets you discard more Night Marchers, and allows you more...

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

Glad to hear it worked for you. I take it Enhanced Hammer wasn't an issue then?

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

I would cut one of the energy. I assume your running the diversity of energy to copy attacks with mew, so I would cut a dark energy, since fighting attacks are generally more useful.

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

I just noticed you are only running 3 Pumpkaboo. For consistancy and maximum potential, the full set of 12 Night Marchers is recommended, as well as 4 Battle Compressors. The battle compressors are the cornerstone of the deck, allowing it to quickly get many Night Marchers quickly, Discarding...

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

Flareon is a good Pyroar answer that also helps a lot late game with it's higher hp, still strong attack, and only giving a single prize. The Gourgeist / Celebi EX Night March deck is it's own variant. It just functions too differently.

Nightmarch (Mew EX / Joltik / Flareon)

I think the Glaceon is overkill. Flareon should be enough for Pyroar. If you cut it along with the two water energy, I would consider adding one of each of N, Battle Compressor, and Dimension Valley. You only ~ 8 energy for this deck to function.
