Pokemon: : 19

  • 2 Mew EX
    4 Lampent PHF
    3 Pumpkaboo PHF
    1 Mr.Mime PLF
    4 Joltik PHF
    1 Flareon PLF
    1 Leafeon PLF
    1 Glaceon PLF
    2 Eevee FFI
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: : 29

  • 4 Ultra Ball
    3 Silver Bangle
    3 Battle Compressor
    2 VS Seeker
    2 Professor's Letter
    4 Professor Sycamore
    4 Skyla
    3 N
    1 Lysandre
    1 Xerosic
    2 Dimension Valley
Energy: : 12

  • 2 Darkness Energy
    2 Fighting Energy
    2 Grass Energy
    2 Water Energy
    4 Double Colorless Energy

Strategy:

The strategy to this deck is to get most of myPpokémon with night march in my discard pile with battle compressor, professor Sycamore, and ultra ball. I use Skyla to get any of my trainer cards out and professor's letter to pull out energies. Lysandre is to pull out weak Pokémon out to the bench while Xerosic takes out Items and special energies. N is to simply refresh my hand while making my opponent shuffle his hand in. Dimension Valley is to cut down on the energy cost for Mew EX to use Nightmarch or any other attacks. VS seeker is to get Lysandre and Xerosic out of the discard pile. Silver bangle is to power up my pokémon. I have the fighting and dark energies to versatile with Mew to get Yveltal EX and Landerous EX's attacks. I have 2 grass and water in here to put on Eevee in order to pull out Leafeon and Glaceon. Mr.mime is to protect my bench like Joltik from attacks such as Megelo Cannon. Flareon is to take care of Virgen deck or when all my Nightmarchers are in the discard pile, Leafeon is in here to take care of Siesmitoad, and Glaceon is to one shot Pyroars. So that is my deck so far and I would be more then happy to take any advice for this deck. I have been playing this game for a while now and this deck has a lot of potential to me at least. Thank you for reading.

I would personally use gourgeuist and celebi EX because gourgeuist has 200hp when a grass energy is attached to it and celebi lets gourgeuist use pumkaboos night march

That would be good but it's just that when celebi ex is Lysandred out then you won't be able to use nightmarch. plus when you use mew you could copy moves such as quaking punch, evil ball, land's judgement, and many more moves for a lower energy cost.

I think the Glaceon is overkill. Flareon should be enough for Pyroar. If you cut it along with the two water energy, I would consider adding one of each of N, Battle Compressor, and Dimension Valley. You only ~ 8 energy for this deck to function.

my suggestion is that you have too many different pokemon in your deck. don't worry about Dark, Fighting, and VirGen. go with the power game. My son used Night march at Cities and got 2nd place in a field of 20+
just go with the power game. 4-4-4-4. don't worry about the Evee lines. just clutters it up.
you want to win the OHKO game.
but you do need to work in a counter to Pyroar (Celebi and Gourgeist). otherwise, almost an auto loss.
need to work in x3 Lysnadre to counter Donphan/RoboSub type decks that do a lot of switching.
recommend 3rd dimension valley. you need to win the Stadium wars.
work in a couple Start Megaphones. otherwise Mew EX is useless.
and you typically would run very lean on benched basic pokemon (x2) since you should be trying to get 8+ in discard.

its a good deck. can run very fast and hit hard. typically does very well against all energy acceleration decks.

Flareon is a good Pyroar answer that also helps a lot late game with it's higher hp, still strong attack, and only giving a single prize. The Gourgeist / Celebi EX Night March deck is it's own variant. It just functions too differently.

The only Eeveelution you need in this is Flareon. Cut all Energies bar DCE and Fire.

Thanks guys for your awesome advice. I will be using it in the tournament I am going to. Please if there are any more suggestions I am all ears.

I just noticed you are only running 3 Pumpkaboo. For consistancy and maximum potential, the full set of 12 Night Marchers is recommended, as well as 4 Battle Compressors. The battle compressors are the cornerstone of the deck, allowing it to quickly get many Night Marchers quickly, Discarding useless tech, and sometimes grabbing something for VS Seeker. The card is almost never dead even after you discarded enough Night Marchers.

Night March doesn't need much energy. 4 Double Colorless, and 4 Fire is enough. If you run Professor's Letter (I see you do,) you can run as little as 4 Double Colorless and 3 Fire. No attacks actually require psychic, and the only attack that will ever be better than Night March (Quaking Punch) only requires colorless energy. The fire energy is also only relevent because of Eevee's ability. Since the plan is to switch to Flareon at the very end, you will have plenty of time to set up Flareon without Fire Energy if you don't feel the need. I personally plan to test out Mystery Energy in it's place, so I can retreat a Mew EX for prize denial. I can't recommend that though, since I don't know how much Enhanced Hammer would hurt. Better to play it safe and just use the Fire Energy. Just wanted to point out that using another Energy type isn't actually gonna hurt you.

Lastly, don't be afraid to attack with Joltik. He will get 1HKO'd by anything, but he also 1HKO's EXs. That is trading 1 prize for 2. That's how you win games. Mew is great attacker, but if your opponent can 1HKO your Mew, Joltik would be a better choice.

That sounds like a good idea but what should I take out to put pumpkaboo in? I'm takeing out glaceon and the water energy for 1 DV, 1 battle compresser, and 1 Flareon.

I would cut one of the energy. I assume your running the diversity of energy to copy attacks with mew, so I would cut a dark energy, since fighting attacks are generally more useful.

we ran x2 mystery energy.
does help with prize denial as you can bench Mew EX if opponent can't OHKO.
we also have x2 Special Energy.
don't forget Mew Versatile can use all attacks.
so remember to peek at opponents attacks, just in case you want to reverse Quaking Punch or some other attack like X Ball.

Glad to hear it worked for you. I take it Enhanced Hammer wasn't an issue then?

Hey guys I just got back from the tournament and I got destroyed by a siesmitoad and donphan so now I want to know how to couter these cards. Oh yeah and with leafeon's energy press would a DCE count as two energies or one?
