I agree with the Mewtwo Lv. X-esque ability, but I think the retreat cost should be 3, so it can still be searched out with Heavy Ball. Also, another energy off the attack couldn't hurt.

Would probably be usable if its attack was better, but like this, I wouldn't bother with it. You can only search out one card unless you run Devolution Spray, which in the B/W-on format, you can't Junk Arm for it, nor do we have something like Broken Time-Space, so you would only get to search...

Depends on the cost of the tin. If you buy a Kyurem EX tin with 4 packs for 20 dollars, you could assume that each of the packs are 4 dollars each and that the promo is also 4 dollars. If the card is bad, though, you might not have very much luck.

PTCGO has been back up, but the update for multiplayer and Dark Explorers won't be up until summer.

It may be the case, but I haven't played against either damage counter spam deck listed here. As it is, my deck may have a problem with them because there aren't many basics in them.

Mine doesn't. It isn't really necessary for a good start because I don't necessarily need to go first. However, with ANYTHING with Dark Energy, I would run 4 Sableye.

Awesome starting card if you can spare T1. It cures supporter droughts and has a 1 retreat cost, so I'd probably use it.

There's also Machamp SF/Aerodactyl Fossil, occasionally with Mewtwo Lv. X. I personally run Machamp SF/Claydol GE for a speedy start.

I'm fairly sure 1st edition cards stopped when the first e-reader set came out. Correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: The "I pulled something cool" topic. Just recently, I bought 2 Dark Explorers boosters and pulled a Gold Catcher! The funny part is that now I have a full playset of Catcher, including the gold one.
