See I don't think Gym leaders should change their signature Pokemon, just because of a type change. Personally I think the future lies in dual typing.

We just get t-shirts and a default jacket recolored. Um.....how is that better than, sailor shirts, bowey shirts, lacey skirts, short shorts, etc. We get just pants and the same t-shirts recolored. We have no other style than boy.
