“Pokemon TCG Pocket” to Add Trading Feature in January, New Booster Packs

They marketed the game with trading, but they fully realize that, if players are able to trade for their favorite cards, they won't be spending money trying to open boosters. I fully expect this will be limited only to the lowest rarities.

French McDonald’s Teases “Big Mac” Pokemon Card, U.S. Happy Meal Promotion Coming Next Month?

I'm sorry to say, but this is not "real artwork", this is an AI generation of a burger in a forest.

    Seaking from Terastal Festival!

Keep in mind that these attacks sadly cannot abuse TMs. Which apparently even Creatures missed, as they released a video in Japan showing Dipplin (same ability) with a TM saying it's a "good combo", which they had to delete shortly after LOL

    Budew from Terastal Festival

WHY IS THIS NOT AN IGGLYBUFF CARD It's actually a pretty crazy card, guaranteed item lock until they KO it. I think it might work better in off-meta decks, that need a bit of time to set up without some broken engine.

New Lapras ex Event Battle in “Pokemon TCG Pocket,” Rewards Promo Booster Pack!

Lapras is nowhere near Articuno in terms of power, but now I'm wondering if there's going to be any communication between the developers and the players, or will it be the same radio static we get in regular TCG.

“Pokemon TCG Pocket” Earning 3x More Than “Pokemon GO,” Pulling in $3 Million Per Day!

It's not surprising to see these numbers for a game that just launched, but it highlights how comparatively little Pokemon GO is making, especially compared to how much cultural significance it briefly had. Absolutely fumbled game.

“Pokemon TCG Pocket” Receives 10 Million Downloads and Special Meowth Event, Adds Monthly Hourglasses

There seems to be a curse - perhaps perpetuated by design - that mobile Pokemon games open to immense interest from fans, thanks to the incredible brand pull, yet end up not able to sustain their massive playerbases due to shallow gameplay and lack of features. TCG Pocket is like a step in a...

All Eeveelution Cards Revealed from “Terastal Festival ex!”

Umbreon's the first card that just let's you take a Prize card without any gimmicks. It is extremely restrictive and slow (even if you found a way to power it up every turn), but it is worth noting.

“Pokemon TCG Pocket” Now Out Globally: Full Guide, New Accessories!

After playing it for a while, I am surprised how many logical changes have been implemented to the game's formula. There's a lot of parallel thinking going on here between what I thought would be good for the game, and what was actually implemented. However, the design of some cards absolutely...

Game Freak Issues Statement on Massive Data Breach; Terabytes of Internal Pokemon Content Leaked

From what I understand, the hacker is piece-mealing it on their Discord, which is also why they technically have data on Z-A and Gen 10, but refuse to release it. Having access to other employee's names, private e-mails - sure. Having access to their private information, like addresses or bank...

Game Freak Issues Statement on Massive Data Breach; Terabytes of Internal Pokemon Content Leaked

As far as I was able to research, while the leak contained personal data, the hacker is not planning to release it at any point. It wasn't specifically targeted, it was part of the massive dump of poorly-defended data. I was not able to found what specific "personal data" leaked. A regular...

Game Freak Issues Statement on Massive Data Breach; Terabytes of Internal Pokemon Content Leaked

This is pretty cool - leaks about future products usually help consumers make better decisions, while leaks about past products help with preservation, that these companies are rarely interested in doing. From what I can see so far, early versions of Pokemon games, even as far as Gen 3, usually...

Chien-Pao, Gastrodon, Cofagrigus, Maushold from “Supercharged Breaker!”

Gastrodon is kind of cool. Gives back hope for H-on, since it directly counters Marnie's Grimmsnarl.

    Miraidon, Koraidon from Supercharged Breaker!

Miraidon is an interesting stall proposition, your opponent needs to boss / force switch multiple times to win, if they don't have a good single-prize attacker. It would be pretty weak to Gardevoir though. Koraidon is just a good kamikaze single-prizer on a DCE, these are some genuinely playable...

Meowstic, Relaxing Teaser from Supercharged Breaker!

Boss not getting a reprint would be incredible. But replacing Boss a benchhogger that every deck would have to run would be equally awful. Just reprint Custom Catcher.
