Alt. Format Wonderland (Polteageist / Omastar)

With the Professor supporter archetype returning along with Polteageist, how would you prevent someone from playing that to discard all of the items from their hand? Since they wouldn't be using them anyway, they would have no reason not to. Also, how do you plan to counter VenuSnivy with the...

Expanded Budget Rayquaza GX Deck - Need Advice!

I think with this deck, at least based on my experience playing Ray, you have the core idea down pretty well. I know you said you didn't want to need too many expensive cards, but Vs. Seeker really would do wonders here, being able to reduce your supporter count in exchange for more item-based...

    Standard RillaRay (Rayquaza GX/Rillaboom)

Have you considered dropping something for an Elm's Lecture? Just a single copy could make your early game much more consistent since Grookey has 60 Hp. You may also want to consider UNB Mew, since things like Stinger on Naga GX or, perhaps more importantly, Cramorant V's second attack can OHKO...

    Alt. Format Sableye V Prototype

I totally forgot about Roxie/Koffing! That does actually work better since it drops one on every mon per discard, and I'll definitely find some place to put it in! Final edit: +2 Roxie +3 Koffing -2 Obstagoon -3 Rare Candy

    Alt. Format Sableye V Prototype

Alternatively, you could run a Volcarona GX variant, swapping the Obstagoon or Giratina for a 3-3 or 2-2 line respectively, subbing out the shrines for an extra Chaotic Swell, Reset Stamp, or Fire Energy (unless you don't care about Volcarona taking damage), and swapping 2-4 dark energy for fire...

    Alt. Format Sableye V Prototype

So in my opinion, Sableye is one of the top three new decks from SWSH base set so far, the others being Metal Doggos and Snorlax VMAX. Here's a list for Sableye V: Pokemon (18): Sableye V (3) G. Zigzagoon (3) G. Obstagoon (1) Giratina LOT (4) Koffing COE (3) Minccino (2) Cinccino...

    Ruling New VMAX mechanic

TAE is short for Triple Acceleration Energy

    Ruling New VMAX mechanic

Is there any information pertaining to VMAX that denotes it specifically as an evolution? I was wondering because of VMAX Snorlax, which could definitely benefit from not only being searchable from evolution incense, but also from TAE, which only evolved pokemon can use.

Standard Blastoise & Piplup Tag Team GX

I think a NagQuag engine would work pretty well over just a Nag engine. It means you don't have to switch as often, or move your energy with items. It also means that one of each of those pieces give you a reliable T2 attack, since you attach twice from hand and one moved up from NagQuag. That...

    Alt. Format N's Dragons

Also, aside from the tech Keldeo GX, what is the point of the Hoods? Is it for the new Volcarona?

    Alt. Format N's Dragons

Just a quick numbers check, ReshiRom does 270 for three discards, not 1 70. That also means max of 310. not 210, which one-shots any and all non-Vmax pokemon. Makes it also sound a lot more impressive.

Standard Dimension Drift (Garchomp & Giratina GX / Rotom / Roxie)

Is there a particular reason for 4 Weezing and not 4 Koffing? Or are they pretty much interchangeable?

Expanded A new take on an old classic (Vespiquen/Flareon)

I could fit those in I guess, but I don't know what I'd take out for it. I could also fit in Counter energy for the same reason.

Expanded A new take on an old classic (Vespiquen/Flareon)

So I'll admit, I'm not good at analyzing an expanded meta, but the revel of Roxie and the complimentary Koffing inspired me to make a vespiquen list, based off the one by Connor Finton, 2nd place finalist at Anaheim Regionals last year. Pokemon (28) Combee AOR (4) Vespiquen AOR 10/98 (4) Eevee...

Alt. Format UPR-On: Psychic-powered Tags, Squids, and Dragons!(MalaTina/M&M TTGX)

I think the spell tag is pretty good in this deck. It doesn't work if you have G^2 GX or Noivern, sure, but it does spread to a max of four different pokemon, instead of 1. The big attack on ChompTina is only so big after the pokemon it hits is already damaged. That's also why Noivern is there...

Alt. Format Post Rotation Aerodactyl GX

Zygarde is mainly there to serve as a way of accelerating energy on to my benched Aerodactyl/archeops. I've also found that at least in terms of basic gxs like blacephalon, it sets up numbers really well when diancie is on the bench, since the boost to both does 180.

Alt. Format Post Rotation Aerodactyl GX

Edit 1: Noticing how the deck couldn't really have an obvious answer to energy denial, I swapped the omastar line for the new Archeops line, which will provide a more reliable single energy backup attacker.

Alt. Format Post Rotation Aerodactyl GX

Pokemon (11): Zygarde UNM (3) Aerodactyl GX (3) Aerodacytl (1) Archen (2) Archeops (2) Diancie PS (1) Trainers (40): Pokemon Research Lab (3) Fighting Dojo (3) Stadium Navigator (3) Unidentified Fossil (4) Blue’s Strategy (3) Escape Board (2) Cynthia (3) Fossil Excavation...
