SM9 'Tag Volt,' Japan's December Set!

Again, like I said, if it’s used in Malamar as a one or two of, it could be used by marshadow. Also, field blower is not currently being played, due to hw innefective against stadiums it is, and not many decks play it. If anything, a one of. And for consistency, I used limitlesstcg to check the...

SM9 'Tag Volt,' Japan's December Set!

Just play weakness policy. Or, play this in Malamar so that you can discard this and use marshadow, which both hits for weakness and doesn’t lose three prizes if KO’d later.

Standard DeciZoroTales (Decidueye GX/Zoroark GX/Alolan Ninetales GX)

Thing is, the results you may have gotten are not matching with the ones seen in tournaments. At LAIC this year, there was no Metagross/ Solgaleo or dusk mane necrozma that made day 2. The closest thing to a viable metal deck in day 2 were a few metal techs and a gene sect deck which came in...

    New 'Melmetal-GX Box' in February!

I kinda disagree with that. Some of the most popular pokemon are things like zoroark, alolan ninetales, lost March cards, Malamar, and Lycanroc, to make a few

'GX Ultra Shiny' Pack Featuring Shiny Pokemon, Worldwide Card Legality After All?!

This set is amazing, collectors protect your pockets. I reaaaaallly want the Ralts, Kirlia, vulpix, Ninetales, Gardevoir, sylveon or Lele!

Standard Post LST - Gardevoir GX/Alolan Ninetales GX

True. I used to play miltank in gardevoir back last season. Only problem was that it allowed a free prize card possibility for your opponent. Overall, max potion is better due to the full healing and the fact that gardevoir can recycle cards.

'GX Ultra Shiny' Pack Featuring Shiny Pokemon, Worldwide Card Legality After All?!

I agree. I just hope this set releases before our legality switch. Then it will be worthwhile to get here in America. Also, this set will set new highs for most valuabe card

'GX Ultra Shiny' Pack Featuring Shiny Pokemon, Worldwide Card Legality After All?!

My question has already been answered. Japan, here I come!

'GX Ultra Shiny' Pack Featuring Shiny Pokemon, Worldwide Card Legality After All?!

And the cards keep coming! This set will crack open everyone’s pocket books! Also, since we have golden Bulu and Fini, will we get golden Lele?

The thing is, you still have to wait a turn from acerolaing to evolving, and your opponent could use that to their advantage.

'GX Ultra Shiny' Pack Featuring Shiny Pokemon, Worldwide Card Legality After All?!

I Need that vulpix! With it, my collection of alolan vulpix cards would be complete! I have the original beacon vulpix and the toys R us one, so this would be great to have!

And it used the multiple stage twos to its advantage, by using super boost energy more often and using sylveon GX to find cards in the beginning game.

What I was asking about was an entirely different deck, which was a combination of gardevoir gx and swampert from celestial storm. The deck had seen some success, and i was wondering how strong it was compared to this new Gardevoir.

Standard Post LST - Gardevoir GX/Alolan Ninetales GX

Very true. My one question is: is this variant better than Gardevoir Swampede? I’ve tested swampede, and it was very strong against zoroark and kiawe decks. I haven’t fully tested Gardevoir Ninetales, and I want to know each other’s matchups.

Standard Post LST - Gardevoir GX/Alolan Ninetales GX

The reason I thought sylveon was a good alternative is that though eevee is a worse basic than alolan vulpix, eevee is not meant to be a basic. The thing that makes sylveon’s magic ribbon better than gardevoir LST’s brilliant search is that it can be used almost instantly. If you take turn 2...

Standard Post LST - Gardevoir GX/Alolan Ninetales GX

Why not play sylveon line? Meganium is a bench sitter and a liability if forced into play by a card like Guzma, while sylveon can be used early game to find cards and endgame as a secondary attacker.

Eevee & Snorlax-GX Tag Team Partially Revealed!

Well, the thing is, there are quite a few Pokémon tools coming into the game through lost thunder and tag team, which may up field blower count. I also am not sure if taking out field blowers is the greatest plan, due to, as you said, not having them allows cards such as shrine of punishment or...

Eevee & Snorlax-GX Tag Team Partially Revealed!

Decks in PTCGO are based off decks IRL. The thing with solgaleo is that it takes hits from decks such as kiawe, and with blacephalon GX coming into the format it's not guaranteed that many metal decks will be around long enough for tag team GX.

Eevee & Snorlax-GX Tag Team Partially Revealed!

Right there is the problem. Turn 3 the decks I mentioned are hitting shots turn two, turn 3 as well. Set up speed is key in this format, and Solgaleo doesn’t have that. Plus, this is a basic. Trust me, I know. I played solgaleo on ptcgo. Not too much success.
