I think we can count Mimikkyu as a Pikaclone as well, in fact you could say it's even more of a Pikaclone since it's specifically trying to look like Pikachu. But yeah, I really like the concept behind it, it's so meta and unique. Definitely better than some of the more conventional Pikaclones...

Well its description said it specifically wanted to look like Pikachu so it could be loved, so I don't think it'll imitate other Pokemon.

These Pokemon look really creepy, but at least Mimikkyu has an excuse. I like Mimikkyu's lore too, it's so meta and it's really a neat take on Pikaclones.

I can buy those Pokemon receiving Megas this game, most of those are either fairly popular or highly requested, so they'd be good candidates for Megas.

I've updated the OP with Pokemon that have been shown off either in the gameplay or through promotional material. I'm not sure every one of them will be in the Alola Dex (Serperior definitely seems suspect in particular), but I wouldn't be surprised to see many of the Pokemon shown off. Anyway...

Gyms are part of the League though. The whole point of Gyms is that you need to beat them in order to qualify for the League, so with no League gyms become pointless.

If you're just worried about dex completion, don't worry about Jirachi. Jirachi doesn't count towards the Hoenn Dex.

For Poison/Steel I always imagined a mine Pokemon of some sort (as in explosive mines that you could plant in the ground or in oceans or something). A trash can Pokemon would be good too though, and you definitely have more interesting ideas for it.
