RE: Shiny Pokémon Less Rare in X / Y As far as I've seen, no. It looks as if there is a shiny lock in place, at least on Yveltal and Xerneus, and I haven't noticed any pics of shiny Zygarde or Mewtwo from Kalos floating around either. I could be wrong about Zygarde and Mewtwo though.

Except they werent. Only Zekrom, Reshiram, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect were shiny locked. I RNG'd shiny Virizion, Cobalion, Terrakion, Kyurem, Tornadus and Landorus.

Are you changing the time on your 3ds at all? Or switching your card between more than one 3ds to play? Any kind of action that causes the game to "time skip" resets daily events.

On the laptop I have used to check my things, it sometimes gives me that error as well. If I keep the program open and just try to start the hotspot a couple more times it usually will work eventually. I have never had to close out the program to get the hotspot to work or anything.
